Back in the 90’s I met Mel Johnson on a Caribou hunt in Quebec. I recognized his name instaitly and introduced myself. We had an enjoyable conversation about his bowhunting experiences in his home state of Illinois. And eventually the conversation turned to his World Record P&Y Whitetail Buck.
